DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION
The painting of Jesus Crucified and Saint Jerome is a significant work of religious art from the Italian Renaissance, created by the Sienese painter Girolamo di Benvenuto.
The work is preserved and displayed inside the historic Basilica of San Francesco in Siena. The figure of Christ on the Cross stands out in the center, flanked in the foreground by Saint Jerome.
